The Medinah Flying Carpets are a Parade unit of the Medinah Shriners of Chicago. The Flying Carpets have been entertaining parade crowds for over forty years. Led by their Grand Leader they are one of Medinah's premier parade groups. Their antics and parade maneuvers are requested by many cities and townships all over the Chicagoland area. They have recently performed as far away as London, Ontario
The Medinah Flying Carpets are also members of G.L.S.A. (Great Lakes Shrine Assocation). Over the past few years The Medinah Flying Carpets have participated in the G.L.S.A. competitions winning both First & Second place awards for Inspection, Drill, and Obstacle competitions.
